Shipping & FAQS

PAYMENT
We accept secured payment through PAYPAL, APPLEPAY and MASTER/VISA/AMEX. We do not accept bank transfer at the moment, however if you face any problem, please let us know by dropping us an email, or the contact form. We will try our very best to make you own our pieces.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING
All orders are shipped from Singapore within  3-5 business days via Qxpress on default. Do note that orders that are placed during festive periods will take 5-7 business days to reach you. Cut-off timing for processing of daily orders is set at 2pm. New orders submitted after 2pm will be processed the following work day. We'll send a shipment notification email as soon as your order goes out. Shipping on domestic orders is free with orders above S$30. Please contact us if you have any special shipping needs.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Shipping duration for International parcel usually takes about 5-14 business days to arrive on normal circumstances, but may also take up to 3-4 weeks depending on how long a package is held in customs. If you are concerned about tracking, please contact us to make other shipping arrangements. Please note that international shipments may be subject to import tax upon arrival at their destination and YARD YARN is not responsible for customs fees or taxes charged upon arrival. Please contact us if you have any further questions or concerns about international shipping.

EXCHANGE POLICY
We like what we make and we want you to like it too. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or less than spectacular in any way, the exchange needs to be made within 7 days of receiving your order. Please contact us before sending an item back to authorize an exchange. Items should be sent back within 14 days from the purchased date in original condition, and include a note stating the reason for your exchange, as well as a return address. Should you have any other issues with an order, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our very best to take care of you.

SALE and Promotional items strictly cannot be returned and/or exchanged. 

JEWELLERY CARE
The main material that we utilise in most of our jewellery is 304 Stainless Steel, which are generally considered hypoallergenic for most people. However, we will not encourage if you are hypersensitive to nickel and iron, as they do contain a low percentage of them. 304 Stainless Steel are highly resistant to corrosion and rust. We have test proof most of the jewellery, and they are great to be worn in tropical climate. In some circumstances, rhodium and other plated metals are also used, these will tarnish in contact with air, humidity, perfume, and perspiration. Other materials like ornamental beads and leather parts are synthetic, unless stated otherwise. You will also find specification stated on each of the product pages.

The best way to care for your jewellery is to keep it in a clean or dry place and avoid long term exposure to humidity if possible. Try to store your accessory outside of a steamy bathroom, and remove them when showering and swimming. Both chlorine and salt water can lead to some major tarnish, so those two are best to avoid! You may like to clean the accessory before storing them with a clean, dry cloth.

REPAIRS
We stand behind the quality of our work, and with proper care, your accessory should last you for many years to come. However, an accessory is by no means indestructible. Please do not put your jewellery too far through the ringer without consequence. Should you require a repair, please contact us with a description of what happened and we'll be happy to get you fixed up.
